So the other day, Brandon and I were running around St. Vincent De Paul’s (our favorite thrift store) and I found MELTY BEADS!
Does anyone else remember how awesome melty beads were? You would dig and dig through the bag to get enough of the colors you needed, and then when you were almost done someone would bump the table and all the little beads would get messed up. It reminds me of that scene in Step Brothers when they’re playing with the night vision goggles…. It was fun when we were little, but it’s even more fun when you’re 23 and you’re allowed to use the iron all by yourself. Take a look at my creations…
1st, a raccoon guy!
Then my cute husband…
Then the whole family!
Once I started, I couldn’t stop. Seriously. Like for 3 days. It’s the crack cocaine of childhood crafts. If you don’t believe me, they still sell them at Walmart… in bulk.

HEY! I love melty beads too! Your art is the best art of all the other art! But seriously they are so cute. I miss you guys terribly. I thought of you on Martin Luther King day. To celebrate watched this totally weird movie called Amos and Andrew with Samuel L Jackson and Nicholas Cage. It is about this rich black man who moves to a rich island where the people see him in his house and assume that he is a burglar and call the police. It is on netflix instant watch…ANYWAY, I miss you guys.

We watched “Just Wright” with Queen Latifah for MLK day, and it was surprisingly good… silly, but good. What are you guys doing for Lincoln’s birthday? Sensuous Sandwich Challenge? I’m really missing our fun hang-outs and feasting on 2 feet of deli goodness with you… love you!
