One thing I love about our apartment is that we have a window in our kitchen that looks out on our yard. We’ve got lots of trees and bushes that house lots of little animals. We’ve got two varieties of squirrels– regular brown ones and these huge, cat-sized grey ones that Brandon and I call “koala squirrels”. I think I love them.
They also aren’t afraid of people, which I love! I can put out some treats for them, sit on our patio and watch them as they run around only a few feet from me. They are, however, not big fans of Penny, which I don’t know why because I’m sure she would only like to chew on them a little bit. No biggie.
This is her begging me to let her out so she can chase them. What’dya think? Should I let her?

Pretty squirrel! Penny has that look like “What! You want me to do what?!!” She even looks a little bossy. We also miss you guys!
